Ticket link to charity evening at the Animal Art Fair
The Angus Lawson Memorial Trust will be hosting a charity evening at the Animal Art Fair on Thursday 17th May.
Sponsored by Deutsche Bank, the evening will see Miranda Hart and Clare Balding auctioning off the celebrity art works and young people from Peckham Shed Anyone Everyone Theatre will provide the entertainment. Guests will enjoy Cabrita Tequila cocktails provided by Amathus Drinks expertly served up by professional bartenders from Hirethebarman.com with special celebrity guests in attendance.

Clare Balding – a masterpiece for the Animal Art Fair
Forget the Boat Race and even the Grand National, surely the most exciting day of Clare Balding’s professional year was her masterclass at Tania Still’s studio. We asked her to draw her dog Archie to help raise funds for our charitable partner http://www.almt.org/ . Under the guidance of Tania Still she really has produced something remarkable. Miranda Hart creates a masterpiece for the Animal Art Fair and ALMT.
So, with 4 weeks to go before we open our doors, we’ve asked a number of celebs to draw their dogs to auction in aid of our charitable partner www.almt.org. Miranda Hart was first up, under the expert guidance of Tania Still. I can confirm she had no idea before she started – she drew a duck with 4 legs in practice! Have a look at her masterpiece below and let us know what you think…

Animal Art Fair ties up with Chinawhite
For all those coming to the evening private view on Friday May 18th, Chinawhite will be hosting an after-party for Animal Art Fair guests. With free entry, a complimentary cocktail and canapes in the VIP area it promises to be a great night. Numbers are limited so book your tickets now!!
Whilst other venues enjoy brief moments as the new “hotspot of London”, Chinawhite is firmly established as one of London’s most timeless, famous and aspirational members’ clubs; presiding alongside top nightclub brands the world over. The club combines a formidable heritage with a distinct, progressive and modern approach. Once through the doors, still a bit of a task due to its popularity, you are enveloped in modern day oriental opulence. Chinese hand painted wallpaper, Balinese carved friezes, and touches of old and new Asia all create distinct changes in mood and tempo as you move through the club’s three rooms and restaurant. In fact the restaurant offering is exceptional (certainly not the usual club food experience), thanks to head chef Adam Penney, who has created elegant dishes such as Cornish scallops with Chinese black beans, baby sweet corn and scallions, and wild halibut with den miso and steamed pak choi. A fine meal and then some dancing……a whole night in one location, couldn’t be simpler!

ALMT to be charitable partner in 2012
We are delighted to say that ALMT will be our charitable partner for 2012. It is a remarkable charity, set up and run by remarkable people, created for the mitigation of suffering of the world’s most marginalised children. ALMT also offers grief and bereavment support to children and parents in the UK. www.almt.org
We will be hosting a private view on the evening of Thursday 17th May to raise much needed funds for ALMT. Details will follow shortly.
